JANUS

Six months after Anna Renner joins the Continuum Foundation, its founder, Matthias Voss, is found dead at his villa on Lake Geneva. An old electronic key and the code R-0 are left beside his body. Anna discovers that Voss once worked with her father, David Klein, on a secret project called K-01. A third scientist helped create it, but her name and records have been erased. The investigation takes Anna from Geneva to Warsaw and Paris, through Cold War laboratories, billion-dollar transfers, and a list of eleven dead people. Voss's murder and the project's forty-year-old secret form two connected mysteries. Solving them will force Anna to confront what has been hidden about her own family.
