The Fall of the Baltics / Book 2

Active Phase

Article 5 is activated. The battlefield is moving faster than the alliance.

NATO invokes Article 5 as Russian forces move into open operations against Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Drones strike roads, ports, power supplies, and communications while military columns and fleeing civilians compete for routes that are rapidly closing. The narrow Suwalki corridor becomes a critical vulnerability, and the alliance's response struggles to keep pace with events. Marcus Kern and Eliza Hart are sent into Estonia to reach a site before Russian teams can seize it and prevent its use as a pretext for further escalation. Around them, evacuation gives way to occupation, searches, and disappearances. Their mission unfolds inside a war in which the distance between an order and its execution can decide what—and who—can still be saved.
