The War for Orbit

The first crewed spaceflight since nuclear war is supposed to mark a new beginning. So is the first election in New Russia. Around the world, people watch Orbital Dawn One reach orbit while Moscow prepares to announce the election results.

Then a supposedly dead Russian satellite begins to maneuver. The spacecraft is destroyed, and almost simultaneously an explosion tears through Red Square, gravely wounding New Russia’s president. As Moscow fractures, competing factions move to control both power and the account of what happened. The War for Orbit follows the investigation and diplomatic crisis behind these connected attacks. A standalone novel set in the world of Day Zero.
